Scotland’s latest road safety initiative hopes to make it easier for drivers to identify members of the bawbag community.
With the recent success of T plates for tourists, transport experts hope that B plates for bawbags will further improve safety on Scotland’s roads.
Introducing the scheme, Transport Minister Fiona Hyslop boasted, “The T plate allows motorists to understand why the car in front of them is being driven at 20mph on a dual carriage way or is parked in a passing place,”
“Gone are the days of telling perplexed tourists to ‘awa and boil yer heid’. The T plate allows you to shout a quick arschloch or enculé to ensure the wanker in front of you understands how ragin’ you are.”
However, until now, there was nothing to allow drivers to understand why someone was driving 80mph straight at them on a single track road.
Hylsop continued, “Thanks to our B plate, you’ll know why that car undertook a bus for disabled children outside a primary school.”
However, in Holyrood, Tory leader Russell Findlay was not so impressed, “Once again the Scottish Government is wasting taxpayer’s money. Why should the government provide what the private sector can do better? The badge on my white Audi R8 Coupe tells other drivers that they ought to give way because I am better than them.”
